Product Description
The TEA5767 Stereo FM Radio Module is a compact FM receiver board based on the TEA5767 single-chip FM radio IC. It provides electronically tuned FM reception with integrated IF selectivity and demodulation, making it suitable for DIY radio receivers, portable audio projects, educational electronics, and embedded FM tuner applications.
The module uses an I2C interface for digital tuning and control, allowing easy integration with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other compatible microcontrollers.
Electronic FM Tuning
The TEA5767 uses electronic tuning, allowing the FM frequency to be selected through the I2C interface without requiring manual adjustment. Its integrated receiver circuitry helps provide stable FM reception with simple external connections.
Audio Output
The module includes a standard 3.5mm audio output jack, allowing connection to compatible earphones or an external amplifier for listening to received FM broadcasts.
Low-Noise Reception
The module includes a low-noise RF amplifier, automatic gain control (AGC), soft mute, and integrated FM demodulation, helping provide stable reception and convenient control for embedded radio applications.

Working Principle
The TEA5767 receives FM radio signals through a suitable external antenna and processes them using its integrated RF amplifier, IF section, and FM demodulator.
A connected microcontroller communicates with the module through I2C to select and tune the desired FM frequency. The recovered audio signal is then available through the module’s 3.5mm output jack.
I2C Control
The I2C interface allows the module to be controlled digitally from compatible development boards. This makes it possible to develop projects with functions such as:
- Electronic FM tuning
- Frequency selection
- Radio scanning
- Station selection
- Microcontroller-controlled radio interfaces
