Warranty and technical-use policy
Manufacturer coverage, evaluation rules, and safe handling expectations for electronics.
Pre-launch draft. Business identity and official contact fields must be completed before checkout is enabled. Statutory consumer rights prevail over an inconsistent clause.
1. Product-specific coverage
The warranty or guarantee shown on the product page and invoice applies to that product. Some components have manufacturer warranty, some are eligible only for dead-on-arrival review, and some consumable, surplus, or clearance items may have no commercial warranty beyond rights that cannot be excluded by law.
2. Warranty process
- Open a support ticket with the order number, SKU, serial number where present, operating conditions, wiring or setup details, and a clear description of the fault.
- TechyTron may troubleshoot, inspect, test, or coordinate directly with the manufacturer or authorised service centre.
- A verified claim may result in repair, replacement, or refund according to the applicable warranty and law. Repaired or replacement goods retain at least the remaining original coverage unless a longer period is stated.
3. Exclusions
Commercial warranty does not cover normal wear, consumables, cosmetic damage, or faults caused by misuse, ESD, excessive voltage/current, reverse polarity, overheating, incorrect installation, liquid, impact, unauthorised repair, modification, soldering damage, removed serial labels, incompatible firmware, or use outside published ratings. These exclusions do not apply where unrelated to the reported defect or where prohibited by law.
4. Design responsibility
Datasheets and technical support assist product selection but do not replace engineering validation. Customers must test the complete system, apply required protections, and comply with electrical, battery, radio, environmental, and product-safety rules applicable to their use.
