Cancellation and refund policy
When an order can be cancelled and how approved refunds are processed.
Pre-launch draft. Business identity and official contact fields must be completed before checkout is enabled. Statutory consumer rights prevail over an inconsistent clause.
1. Customer cancellation
A customer may request cancellation while an order is pending verification or before picking/packing begins. The self-service order screen will show when cancellation is available. Once fulfilment, custom work, cutting, programming, or dispatch has started, cancellation for preference reasons may not be possible.
TechyTron does not impose a cancellation fee unless a specific, lawful, non-recoverable charge was clearly disclosed before purchase. Payment-provider fees are not deducted from a consumer refund unless legally permitted and disclosed.
2. TechyTron cancellation
TechyTron may cancel all or part of an order for unavailable stock, failed payment or identity verification, pricing/catalog error, suspected fraud, address or courier restrictions, regulatory restrictions, or inability to fulfil. Any captured amount for cancelled goods and associated unearned charges will be refunded.
3. Refund method and timing
- Approved prepaid refunds are submitted to the original payment method wherever possible.
- COD refunds require a verified bank account or UPI destination belonging to the customer or lawful recipient; TechyTron will never ask for a UPI PIN or OTP to issue a refund.
- TechyTron will show the refund reference and submission date. Banks and payment providers may require additional processing time after submission.
- Shipping is refunded when required by law or when the full order is cancelled before dispatch. Other shipping adjustments depend on the affected items and reason.
4. Failed or duplicate payments
If money is debited but TechyTron has no successful payment record, the customer should use the payment-status flow before paying again. Verified duplicate captures are refunded. Provider webhooks and reconciliation, rather than a browser success screen alone, determine payment status.
